Customer

An international firm specializing in engineering and environmental services management

Type of project

Research and review of the literature on the data available for the preparation of a technical report for the procurement of equipment and recommendations for market development.

Description

For its industrial composting sites, the client company was considering a new green technology to separate organic matter from recyclable materials such as packaging. This equipment promised lower labour costs and superior performance, resulting in higher quality compost. However, it required a major investment, so it was important to ensure its potential profitability beforehand.

To this end, Sustainable STRAT reviewed all available data and prepared a thorough technical report. Besides, extensive research was conducted in the targeted area to determine the type of organic waste being generated, its quantity, and the likelihood of recovering it from businesses such as restaurants, food processors, retailers, etc.

This process gave the client the necessary information to decide on acquiring the new technology with complete confidence.
